Wine- Argiolas Costamolina 2007 (from Sardinia) We read about this on WS the other day, 89 points $14.99. At first it seemed to have little to no nose, but opened up when it came to the right temp. Was a little too cold at first. Higher alcohol than we expected at 13.5%, but really enjoyable.
Food- homemade pizza with leftover veggies from the week (spinach, mushrooms, peppers,onions, tomatoes, garlic) fresh mozzerella, parm, nitrate & antibiotic free pepperoni :)
Pairing was just "ok" food and wine both very good!
