Ok, this is the start of the wine log blog. We'll keep track of what we have for dinner and what wine we open up along with it. We may horrified at how much wine we drink, but that can be the subject of a different blog. Onto the wines.
The first one was a good one:
Dinner Sunday, August 17 2008
2005 Williams & Selyem Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Grilled wild king salmon seasoned w/Wegman's BBQ seasoning, salt & pepper
Caprese salad of buffalo mozzerella, tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, salt & pepper
Wegman's pre-made wasabi slaw
Wegman's pre-made jicama/asparagus/red pepper/corn salad
The wine was awesome. The pairing with the salmon was good, but not so good with the caprese salad. I would have preferred a nice crisp white Italian
